LATEST: Singer MELANIE CHISHOLM has dismissed reports there will be a Spice Girls reunion concert.

The star, formerly known as Mel C, denies there are on-going talks to reunite for a one-off Las Vegas-style show at Christmas.

It was rumoured former bandmate Mel B jetted into London from Los Angeles especially for reunion discussions this week, but Chisholm insists she has not been involved in talks.

She says, “I have had mixed feelings about a reunion but I am against it. My fear is that we could never have the same magic as we had all those years ago.

“You see a lot of bands reforming but I think the Spice Girls were unique and I don’t want to ruin what we had.”
