American R&B singer AMERIE was left devastated when Coldplay’s CHRIS MARTIN cancelled their planned duet following the birth of his son Moses.

The 1 Thing hitmaker, who recently admitted insuring her legs for $2 million, was crushed when Martin cancelled their studio plans last year, but is hoping they can still work on the potential smash hit.

She explains, “We were supposed to write something together for my album buy he got sidetracked with the birth of Moses so we didn’t get together.

“I still really want to work with him. Coldplay are real mainstays in my CD player.

“Maybe I could be on the next Coldplay album – that would be so cool.”
