Monster Mash Singer Pickett Dead At 69
MONSTER MASH hitmaker BOBBY ‘BORIS’ PICKETT has died of leukaemia. He was 69.
The novelty one-hit wonder scored a smash with the Halloween anthem in 1962.
He died on Wednesday night at a Los Angeles hospital. Pickett’s daughter Nancy and sister Lynda were at his bedside.
Pickett performed his final show in November and he was always a popular choice at Halloween concerts.
