andPOP Interviews Lily Allen

Lily Allen can’t walk a few feet in the UK without an astute member of the paparazzi capturing the moment; and her name is a fixture in the gossip columns every morning, whether it’s for something she said or did, alleged or true.
With the release of her debut album, “Alright, Still,” in North America, Allen is ready to conquer a new territory – where nobody knows her famous English parents. Judging by the crowds packing venues in the U.S. and Canada on her current spring tour, those paparazzi flashes may soon not be exclusive to the land of the Brits.
andPOP caught up with Lily Allen before a recent sold-out show in Toronto in the green room at CBC after her interview with The Hour.
Watch the interview to hear Allen’s thoughts on the grind of touring, her non-feud with Amy Winehouse, getting personal on the album, George Bush and Tony Blair, her follow-up, and more.
