Pop star NATASHA BEDINGFIELD is being paid a staggering $1 million to perform at exclusive New York karaoke club Spotlight this weekend.

The British star – who has become a huge hit in the US – will follow in the footsteps of JENNIFER LOPEZ, who helped open the club last weekend.

Bedingfield will perform just three songs, earning an astonishing $33,000 per minute, reports British newspaper the Daily Star.

The 25-year-old says, “I can’t wait to get on the plane.

“America is becoming like a second home to me now and I’m truly flattered that I’ve been asked to follow in Jennifer’s footsteps at Spotlight.

“I absolutely adore karaoke so being asked to perform was a no-brainer for me.”
