Raised in Anderson, IN, some 40 miles northeast of Indianapolis, Jon McLaughlin grew up the son of a bass player in a home surrounded by music. His siblings played piano, and he began taking classical lessons at age four. After resisting the structure of classical piano training as a young teenager and dabbling with local rock bands, Jon hunkered down to composing his own music in college at the Anderson University School of Music. Now an accomplished musician at the young age of 24, Jon is preparing for the release of his debut LP named Indiana after his home state.

Indiana is scheduled for release on May 6.
