CNN news anchor LARRY KING underwent surgery Friday to unblock a carotid artery.

The 73-year-old TV personality was admitted to Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles for the operation, which was a complete success, according to King’s representatives.

King returned to work on Monday to interview presidential hopeful BARACK OBAMA on his show, LARRY KING LIVE.
