Hollywood actor RAY LIOTTA has been charged with driving under the influence after his car allegedly struck two parked cars in Los Angeles on Saturday evening.

The GOODFELLAS star was released from custody after posting bail following the incident, in which nobody was injured, in the Pacific Palisades suburb of the city.

The 52-year-old, who police say was alone in his Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) at the time of the crash, is scheduled to appear in court next month.
