LOST star DOMINIC MONAGHAN is upset with the executives behind the TV drama – because he fears they’ve upset fans by ruining the concept of the series.

The LORD OF THE RINGS star accepts no one had any idea the show would become a phenomenon, but even he’s growing tired of the plot twists and turns that have turned fans against Lost.

He says, “They (writers) had a beginning and then they had an ending and the studio says, `Can you expand the middle.’ That kinda gets you to a point where it’s not as exciting.

“I’d like them to do four or maybe five great seasons and then we’ll do, like, a couple of movies and it’ll be like a big event.

“Stringing it out and losing the quality is not what we want.”
