Smashing Pumpkins Confirm Comeback Album
Reformed rockers SMASHING PUMPKINS have thrilled fans by confirming they will release their first album in seven years this summer – on a Saturday.
The BILLY CORGAN-fronted band have decided to unveil ZEITGEIST on 7 July 2007, a Saturday, despite almost all albums being released on Tuesdays in the US.
Smashing Pumpkins, comprised of original frontman BILLY CORGAN and drummer JIMMY CHAMBERLAIN, recently announced they will return to performing live in June.
The band’s last album, MACHINA/THE MACHINES OF GOD, was released in 2000.
