AMERICAN IDOL star-turned-Oscar hopeful JENNIFER HUDSON will perform at the Academy Awards next month.

The DREAMGIRLS star, a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award winner, has accepted an offer to sing Best Song nominee LOVE YOU I DO during the Oscars telecast on February 25.

The performance will come a week before Hudson hits the studio to record her first album with music mogul CLIVE DAVIS.
