ANGELINA JOLIE is happy to spend her time helping the poor in the developing world – because it keeps her away from celebrity magazines with her face on the cover.

The media frenzy surrounding Jolie’s relationship with BRAD PITT depresses the campaigning actress, and gives her an added reason to steer clear of the US.

She says, “I’m frustrated that’s what sells. Fortunately, I don’t read those magazines and I travel to a lot of countries where they don’t exist. You can’t take any of it seriously.”
