Aronofsky Sticks To His Own Films
Director DARREN ARONOFSKY refuses to make films he hasn’t written – because he can’t feel the same passion for a project that isn’t his own.
The PI filmmaker has turned down a number of big budget Hollywood blockbuster to dedicate his time to his own films, notably his latest effort THE FOUNTAIN.
Aronofsky says, “To wake up every day and be inspired, you have to really believe in something, I can’t just wake up and do the normal old thing.”
