British pop star LILY ALLEN has hit out Brit Awards nominees who are trying to boost their chances of landing a gong with online campaigns.

The SMILE singer will contest the Best British Solo Artist, Best British Breakthrough Act, Best British Single and Best British Album categories at
next month’s ceremony, but she refuses to go out of her way to secure support.

She says, “I know everyone’s doing online campaigns to try and win a Brit Award but I think that’s a bit whack.”
