Steve Martin To Return As Clouseau
Funnyman STEVE MARTIN is set to return to the big screen as bumbling French cop INSPECTOR CLOUSEAU – thanks to top comedy screenwriters LOWELL GANZ and BABALOO MANDEL.
The acclaimed writers behind hits like FEVER PITCH and ROBOTS are reworking a sequel script after landing the enviable reputation as Hollywood’s “leading comedy script doctors,” according to trade magazine The Hollywood Reporter.
Martin first portrayed PETER SELLERS’ comic creation in 2006, as part of an all-star cast, which featured BEYONCE KNOWLES, KEVIN KLINE and JEAN RENO.
