CES: Microsoft Announces Windows Home Server
During Bill Gates’s keynote address, he introduced a new product from Microsoft called Windows Home Server.
Designed as a central hub for families to share photos, movies and other digital products, Windows Home Server will allow access to all their digital content from a single Windows Live Internet address from anywhere in the world.
Companies including HP will deliver several products later this year that will run Windows Home Server.
Microsoft also announced that it had met its goal of selling over 10 million XBox 360 units by the end of 2006.
