Britney Spears is considering adding to the brood she neglects by adopting a child who was victimized by the 2004 tsunami disaster.

Britney reportedly fell for a young boy from Bali named Wang. After hearing how he lost his family in the Indian Ocean disaster, Britney has considered making the child part of her own family, reports StarPulse.com.

“She instantly wanted to help him and is sponsoring him until she can find out more. And she has even written to officials seeking advice. The tsunami disaster was a tragedy very close to Britney’s heart and she has dedicated a lot of her time to its charities,” a source says, according to StarPulse.

While little Wang is probably better off in the orphanage than in the care of Britney Spears, Britters apparently thinks adopting the tyke will give her a much-needed fresh start for the new year.

“Britney’s had a turbulent year and wants 2007 to be brilliant,” the source said. “As well as wanting to look after little Wang, she is determined to make a music comeback with a difference.”
