Looks like Miss USA Tara Conner isn’t the only one vying for a second chance.

Former Miss Nevada USA Katie Rees is vying to maintain her crown after it was stripped away when scandalous photos of her appeared on the internet last week.

“I am so sorry this happened,” Rees said at news conference held Saturday. “So many of us just don’t realize how our actions—even one night of poor judgment—can affect the rest of our lives.”

Rees followed the footsteps of Miss USA Tara Conner asking billionaire Donald Trump to plead her case but Trump hasn’t returned any of her phone calls.

The ex-Nevada beauty queen delivered a cautionary message for other young girls.

“Don’t let down your guard when it comes to being photographed. No matter how close you are with someone, how much you trust that person, do not let anyone make you vulnerable,” Rees advised.

First-runner up Helen Salas has taken the title of Miss Nevada USA.
