If Green Day’s smash hit “Boulevard Of Broken Dreams” sounds familiar, it may be because it sounds a lot like Oasis’s “Wonderwall.” So says Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher, at least.

In a new interview with Stuff magazine, Gallagher accuses Green Day of basing their song off of his, and he isn’t pleased.

“They should have the decency to wait until I am dead,” Gallagher is quoted as saying. “I, at least, pay the people I steal from that courtesy.”

Oasis have been known to knock off the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
