Britney Spears is topping more than one best or worst of list this year.

First the recently separated pop train-wreck was listed by New York Dog and Hollywood Dog magazines as the World’s Worst Celebrity Dog Owner of 2006.

“She once had three Chihuahuas (Lacy, Lucky and Bit-Bit) and never left home without at least one of them on her arm. As soon as she met Federline and had kids, they disappeared,” the magazines said.

But the honours didn’t stop there.

The National League of Junior Cotillions named Britters the Most Ill-Mannered Person of 2006 “for lowering the standards of morality and her negative influence on the behavior of young people.”

Then Star magazine gave Brit Brit the title of Most Annoying Person of 2006.

“Brit was quite the headline maker this year! But Brit doesn’t top our list because of her dubious child-care techniques or her uber annoying Matt Lauer interview. Nope. The icing on the cake was her post K-Fed decision to make Paris Hilton her BFF and party without panties with such a vengeance that even Lindsay was jealous!” said Star.

CNN’s Headline News named Britney their Most Controversial Celebrity of 2006, while Us Weekly magazine gave her their Worst Dressed Celebrity title.
