Erykah Badu Asks For MySpace Comments In Exchange For Music
Erykah Badu is leaving it up to her fans to decide when they’ll hear new music. The R&B diva has posted on her MySpace page urging her “friends” to post comments on her page. Once the post count reaches 100,000, Badu promises to post a new single within 24 hours.
In a blog post titled “NEW RECORD,” Badu writes: “i said 100,000 and then a new song in 24 hours right? how about i leave it up to you guys…and say i’ll put the new song up once the number is reached. so if you guys take until february to make the quota…then you’ll hear trhe new song in february.”
There’s no better way to up your MySpace popularity. Badu has not released a new studio album since 2003.
