Is It The End For Law and Order: SVU?
Law and Order: SVU could be on it’s last legs because NBC is playing hardball with the series’ stars, reports Fox News.
NBC is apparently reluctant to give Mariska Hargitay and Chris Meloni the big raises they’ve been asking for. According to insiders, NBC is acting like it doesn’t care if the series returns or not.
“They’re acting like they want Chris and Mariska out of there,” a source told Fox News. Ongoing negotiations are reportedly going horribly.
Both stars have received Emmy nominations or wins in the past years, but NBC may save money by pulling the plug on the show.
Law & Order: SVU is consistently a ratings success for NBC, easily winning it’s Tuesday night time slot.
