After only two weeks, the Broadway stage version of “High Fidelty” has announced it will be closing.

The musical, which was adapted from Nick Hornby’s book of the same name (which was also a film starring John Cusack), cost $10 million to make, and is closing due to lack of an audience, reports CBC Arts.

The musical wasn’t a hit with New York critics either, who panned the show, but praised the two leads. The last performance will be this Sunday. The musical opened on Dec. 7, and has only managed to fill 45 per cent of the theatre at any performance.
