George Clooney continues his fight for the people of Darfur.

Clooney and his co-star in both “Ocean’s 11″ films and “Out of Sight,” Don Cheadle, arrived in Egypt yesterday to meet with leaders of the country. Clooney has been meeting with governments who have ties with Sudan in order to try and stop the violence that has been going on in Darfur.

E! Online reports the Hollywood actor, who was recently named People magazine’s sexiest man alive, organized the trip to Egypt and China, to make a personal plea for leaders of the two countries to intervene in the Darfur conflict.

Clooney was to meet with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abdul-Gheit today, and plans to head back to the U.S. on Thursday.
