This week, the world got to see more of Britney Spears than they ever needed to. The pop princess has been photographed cavorting around town commando, flashing her goods to anyone and everyone within a five-mile radius.

Now, it appears that Spears has realized she has gone “a little too far.”

The singer’s website was updated on Thursday and now only features a message from Spears to her fans. “It’s been so long since I’ve been out on the town with friends,” she wrote. “”It’s also been 2 years since I’ve even celebrated my birthday. Every move I make at this point has been magnified more than I expected, and I probably did take my new found freedom a little too far. Anyway, thank God for Victoria’s Secrets’ new underwear line!”

Spears has been enjoying many wild nights with hardcore party friends Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan since filing for divorce from Kevin Federline last month. She celebrated her 25th birthday on Dec. 2.

Spears has two sons with Federline, 1-year-old Sean Preston, and Jayden James, who was born Sept. 12.

Spears ended the note to her fans with a taste of what’s to come: “I look forward to a new year, new music and a new me. I’m just getting started…. Happy Holidays everyone!”
