Olivia Newton-John is looking to get her piece of the “Grease” pie.

The singer-actress is suing Universal Music for $1 million, saying she is due back payments for royalties made from the “Grease” soundtrack, E! Online reports.

According to the lawsuit, there was an agreement between the two parties as to how much Newton-John was to see in royalties. That amount was modified in 1979, 1980 and 2000 to include the soundtrack being sold in new mediums (e.g. CDs). In the court documents filed last Friday, Newton-John says she has received a dime, and Universal Music has not given an explanation as to why it has not paid the money.

Newton-John says she also never gave permission for Universal to use her image on the cover of the soundtrack.

“The lawsuit is without merit and, at the appropriate time, we expect that the court will dismiss it,” Universal replied to the charges in a statement released on Tuesday.
