Looks like there are things that scare “Lost.” Things like “American Idol.”

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that ABC has decided to move the hit serialized drama to 10 p.m., from its current 9 p.m. timeslot, although the network didn’t say it was due to the ratings powerhouse “American Idol.”

ABC says they decided to move the show to make a two hour comedy block on the channel, beginning at 8 and running until 10 p.m., with their sitcoms “George Lopez,” “According to Jim,” “The Knights of Prosperity” (formerly known as “Let’s Rob”) and “In Case of Emergency” (another new show).

It is, however, a good assumption that the show was bumped due to the threat of “American Idol,” as that reality show easily beat the cult hit “Lost” last season.
