Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie is a workaholic.

The 31-year-old singer – who released her first solo album this year – is so petrified about her success fading that she is happy to work 24/7.

She said: “You can’t assume any success. Usually artists spend time in the studio recording an album, then they do prep, then they do press. And then they tour. Most find it hard but I love it. I even get up at three in the
morning sometimes to work.”

Meanwhile, Fergie has hit out at the growing number of blogs on the internet.

The singer – who tackles the subject in her song “Pedestal” – hates the faceless people who criticise musicians and actors online when they are too
scared to try and make it themselves.

She recently said: “I just think, ‘Wow, I’ve worked so hard for this, but what are you people doing other than sitting there behind your computers and talking s**t about people?’

“If people don’t like me, fine, but don’t criticise people if you’re not getting off you’re a** and doing something about your own life.”
