The Blacked Eyed Peas Take Home 3 AMAs
The Black Eyed Peas won all three musical awards they were up for at the American Music Awards last night.
The group was up for favourite group in the rap/hip hop category and the soul/R&B category, as well as favourite rap/hip-hop album for “Monkey Business.” The Red Hot Chilli Peppers won two awards, favourite pop/rock group and alternative music artist.
Both artists were not present at the ceremony. Other (absent) winners included Kelly Clarkson for favourite female pop/rock artist and favourite adult contemporary artist, Eminem for favourite male rap/hip-hop artist, Faith Hill for female country artist, Tim McGraw for country album, Toby Keith for male country artist, and Shakira for Latin artist.
Nickelback won for favourite pop/rock album with “All the Right Reasons.”
