Another chapter was added Tuesday to the controversial book and two-part series in O.J. Simpson’s pseudo-confessional killing.

Denise Brown, sister of Nicole Brown Simpson, told NBC’s “Today” that media giant News Corp. tried to buy her family’s silence with millions of dollars.

“They wanted to offer us millions of dollars. Millions of dollars for, like, ‘Oh, I’m sorry’ money. But they were still going to air the show,” Brown said.

“We just thought, ‘oh my god.’ What they’re trying to do is trying to keep us quiet, trying to make this like hush money, trying to go around the civil verdict, giving us this money to keep our mouths shut.”

News Corp. spokesman Andrew Butcher said that the Browns and Goldmans were offered profits from the series and book but denied that it was hush money.

“There were no strings attached,” says Butcher.

“If I did It,” was scheduled to Air November 27 and 29 with the book’s release November 30.
