Garbage’s Shirley Manson To Release Solo Album
Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson is reportedly ready to fly solo.
British music paper NME has reported that Manson is working on her first solo album, which will involve collaborations with such stars as Jack White, Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins, and Paul Buchanan of the Blue Nile.
The record is slated to come out in 2007.
The news comes at the same time of an announcement from Garbage that the band will be releasing a greatest hits album in March. Absolute Garbage’s tracklisting includes “Queer,” “Only Happy When It Rains,” “Stupid Girl,” “I Think I’m Paranoid,” and an as-yet-untitled new song.
