There may be a TomKat in TomKat’s future.

Reuters reports that Tom Cruise may pledge a cat to his fiancee Katie Holmes in his wedding vows this weekend, along with “a pan and a comb.”

The promises are from Scientology, and many are considering this weekend’s wedding to be the most famous Scientology wedding in over 50 years – following the wedding of Scientology’s founder L. Ron Hubbard.

“A photo of a Scientology wedding usually has a bride wearing a white dress and the groom wearing a dark suit and the party behind them. It is a joyous affair,” said Karin Pouw, a church spokesperson.

What differentiates a Scientology wedding is the advice the couple receives during their wedding.

“They make a vow to each other that they won’t go to sleep at night without having repaired any upset they may have had during the day,” Pouw said.
