Jason Alexander, Britney Spears’ first husband, says Kevin Federline is an idiot. Alexander has told TV’s Extra that he’s not impressed with K-Fed, who is now going through an impending divorce with the pop princess. “I don’t hate the guy,” he says. “I think he made an idiot of himself.”

Alexander married Spears in a whirlwind wedding in Las Vegas almost three years ago – the marriage was quickly annulled three days later.

Alexander said he didn’t know whether Federline married Spears for money or not, but added, “The only thing he’s done since they’ve been married is spend money.”

Spears’ ex also said that he doesn’t think Federline will gain custody of his and Spears’ two sons, Sean Preson and Jayden James. Both have asked for custody in court papers filed this week. “He won’t get the kids,” said Alexander. “He can’t take care of his first two.” Federline also has two children from a previous relationship with actress Shar Jackson.

Alexander said that he still loves Spears and asked her to “give me a call. I’m a good guy to talk to … and I’m here for you.”
