City TV is quoting reports that the “final straw” for the marriage of Brtiney Spears and Kevin Federline came at the Oct. 31 party for his album release.
City says various sources are reporting that “something” happened at the party, cultivating in Spears yelling at her husband, “You’re useless – you’re nobody,” before running out of the party without shoes on her feet. Reportedly, Federline did not go after her.
Other sources add the couple checked into a hotel room the next day, albeit in separate rooms.
Spears did not wear her wedding ring when she popped on the stage of “The Late Show with David Letterman,” on Monday night, the same day Federline co-hosted Much on Demand.
“I’ve been away from the kids for like a week right now. It’s killing me inside, you know, but, baby, I’ll be home soon,” he said about being away from Spears and his kids.
Shortly there after, MuchMusic cameras caught Federline getting a text message on his phone, when a “pensive” look came over his face. Reports suggest that is when he received the news about Spears’ divorce filing.
The documents cite irreconcilable differences for the split, it is unclear how much money Federline will receive in the divorce settlement, but sources say he could be eligible for alimony.
