Teen sensation Lindsay Lohan confided in Oprah and the rest of the world saying she loathes her party girl image.

The sultry songstress/actress defended her reputation saying, “I’m 20 years old. Is it a crime to go … dancing with your friends?”

Lohan was on the Oprah show Tuesday garnering publicity for her new film “Bobby,” opening Nov. 23.

The film, directed by Emilio Estevez, chronicles the 1968 assassination of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy.

Estevez, also on the show, blamed the media saying it over sensationalizes Lohan’s wild-child image because, “it sells.”

He also added Lohan’s behaviour on the set was professional and that she turned in “the best work of her life.”

Lohan’s roster of movies includes “The Parent Trap,” “Freaky Friday” and “A Prairie Home Companion.”
