Kanye West apologizes for his behavior at the European Music Awards in Denmark last Thursday, blaming his disgruntled rant on alcohol.

In an interview with MTV UK, West explains it was, “a little sippy sippy” before the show that added fuel to his already flaming fire.

He later adds, “I don’t have anything against the group that won. I’m gonna download their album right now. I didn’t mean to be offensive in any way. I love you guys. I never heard of you (but) I am your friend.”

Kanye lost “Best Video” Award for, “Touch the Sky,” to Justice vs. Simian’s project “We Are Your Friends.”

Kanye blasted the Award ceremony saying, “”F*ck dis! If I don’t win, the awards show loses credibility. Nothing against you (J Vs S), but hell man.”

New York Post Gossip Column initially reported his tirade was a publicity stunt to play off his pompous image.
