Hilary Duff’s Stalker Arrested
Manhattan Beach police officials confirmed Monday that Russian National Maksim Myaskovskiy, 18, was arrested Friday for suspicion of making criminal threats against Duff.
Myaskovskiy allegedly travelled to Los Angeles to pursue a romantic relationship with the young singer/actress.
Court documents indicate the Russian immigrant attempted to make contact with Duff by visiting her mother’s home and the neighborhood of her boyfriend, Joel Madden, the lead singer of the band Good Charlotte.
The documents also say Myaskovskiy said, he wants to “remove enemies” that might stand in his way, namely her boyfriend, Madden.
A hearing date for the restraining order is scheduled for Nov. 15.
