Pop singer and occasional actress Ashlee Simpson was spotted riding shotgun in Pete Wentz’s car this week, signalling the duo may have rekindled their romance.

Simpson and the Fall Out Boy band member had a brief fling this summer and seem to have picked up where they left off before Simpson went overseas.

She has just returned to Los Angeles after spending two months in London, England acting in a stage production of Chicago.
