Don Henley to be Named 2007 MusiCares Person of the Year
Don Henley will be the 2007 recipient of the MusiCares Person of the Year, Forbes reports.
The Eagles lead singer will receive the honour Feb. 9 at a gala dinner, which is part of the celebrations leading up to the 2007 Grammy Awards.
Henley was selected to receive the honour due to his success through music, and his philanthropy work dealing with musicians rights and concerns and environmental concerns.
Former winners of the award include James Taylor and former Beach Boy Brian Wilson.
