Women have known it for years, but it seems that men having finally entered the loop. George Clooney has been named Man’s top man.

More than one million men voted Clooney into the number one spot on a list of the Top 49 Men, reports City News.

The survey was conducted by AskMen.com, and the “Oceans 12″ star beat out over 15,000 men who were up for the title.

Nominated candidates were ranked based on criteria like integrity, intelligence and charisma. Voters were asked to find the top “ambassadors of male-kind.”

First, second and third place went to rapper Jay-Z, business mogul Richard Branson and cyclist Lance Armstrong, while “Pirates of the Caribbean” star Johnny Depp only made it to seventh place, and former U.S. President Bill Clinton came in 10th.
