Steven Colbert Photo Auctioned for Charity
A portait of comedian Steven Colbert is being auctioned on eBay to benefit the Save the Children charity.
The portrait from Colbert’s television has a current bid of $6,200 US.
“The portrait, which depicts Stephen standing by his fireplace and in front of a previous portrait, will be replaced with a new portrait, which depicts Stephen standing by his fireplace, in front of a previous portrait, in front of a previous portrait,” says the item’s description on eBay. “At least one critic has already heralded the Stephen Colbert Portrait Series as “the equivalent of the Genius Grant, the Fibonacci Sequence, and ‘The DaVinci Code’ combined.”
