While filming a documentary in Africa, Matt Damon has made a delivery of clean water to Africans.

The Associated Press is reporting that the project, which is called H20Africa, “aims to raise awareness about Africa’s water needs and support clean-water programs.”

Apparently Damon “saw firsthand the effects of one of the largest public health issues of our time — the world water crisis which is at its worst in Africa.”

Damon is in Africa filming “Running the Sahara,” a documentary about long distance runners who attempt to be the first to run across the Sahara desert.
