Madonna Adopts, Confirmation from Villiage Officials
Despite her protesting the news, Reuters is reporting that Madonna has in fact adopted an African child.
Henderson Geza Dyedyereke, the headman of Lipunga, a village in Africa, says he was informed of the adoption by the executive director of the orphanage the boy was from.
Reports say the one-year-old African boy was left motherless when his mother died during child birth. He has lived at the orphanage all of his life.
“Rev. Chipeta (the executive director of the orphanage) came yesterday to inform me about the child David Banda who is 12 months,” Dyedyereke told Reuters, adding the boy’s father also confirmed the boy was to be adopted by the Material Girl nearly two months ago.
