“Law and Order” continues its “ripped from the headlines” storylines.

In the season premiere, a star couple with a new baby, whom the movie star mother has had problems keeping her, ahem, hands on her baby in front of photographers, while her husband creates a rap album was reminiscent of Britney Spears, K-Fed and baby Sean Preston.

Reuters is reporting that L&O will air an episode Nov. 3 based on the troubles actor Mel Gibson got himself into this past summer.

Chevy Chase is set to portray the actor who is pulled over for drinking and driving, and then proceeds to go on an anti-Semitic rant.

L&O will change things up by Chase’s character having blood on his shirt which belongs to a Jewish producer of his sitcom.
