A death certificate has been issued for Anna Nicole Smith’s son, Daniel, meaning the TrimSpa spokeswoman will finally be able to lay her son to rest.

The results of Daniel’s last autopsy are expected to be received in two weeks. The cause of his death is still unknown.

“It is not unusual in instances where the cause of death cannot be determined to issue a death certificate,” said Anna Nicole’s attorney, Michael Scott. “This is not a matter of special treatment being given in this particular case.”

Scott also said Anna Nicole is doing better and has received a birth certificate for her newborn daughter. She is currently staying in the Bahamas.
