Conflicting reports surround the death of Anna Nicole Smith’s 20-year-old son, CNN reports.

Sources have reported to the Nassau Guardian that Smith’s son, Daniel, had a combination of drugs and anti-depressants which contributed to his death.

However, the Royal Bahamian Police have stated they have not discovered what contributed to the death, and that an autopsy is underway. Foul play is not suspected at this time.

Despite that, the chief medical officer of health told People magazine that the 20-year-old died from “unnatural” causes, quick to add that due to his age, unnatural causes could include a heart attack, which is what the Guardian had reported was the cause of death originally.

A statement on Smith’s website says the actress is devastated over the death of her son.

“Anna Nicole is absolutely devastated by the loss of her son. He was her pride and joy and an amazing human being. Please do not make any press inquiries at this time so that Anna Nicole can grieve in peace,” the statement reads.
