Brangelina To Tie The Knot When Everyone Can
Brad Pitt reveals in Esquire magazine’s October issue that he and actress Angelina Jolie will think about marriage when there are no longer restrictions on who can tie the knot.
“Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able,” said Pitt, 42. He and Jolie are well known for their social activism.
In the article, Pitt also spoke about his children. He said he “cannot imagine life” without his adopted son Maddox and daughter Zahara. “They’re as much of my blood as any natural born, and I’m theirs,” said Pitt. “That’s all I can say about it. I can’t live without them. So: Anyone considering (adoption), that’s my vote.”
The actor also added that he is a pretty lenient father: “I try not to stifle them in any way,” he says. “If it’s not hurting anyone, I want them to be able to explore. Sometimes that means they’re quite rambunctious.”
Pitt is currently starring in the drama “Babel,” which makes its North American premiere this Saturday at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The October issue of Esquire hits newsstands on Sept. 19.
