‘Harry Potter’ Book Error Corrected
A small error in the last Harry Potter book has been corrected after readers caught the mistake.
In the first hard-cover pressing of J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” it said that Hermione Granger had earned 11 credits in her Ordinary Wizarding Level exams.
However, a previous book states that she only took 10 subjects.
“It was corrected immediately,” said a spokesperson for the book’s publisher Bloomsbury, according to the BBC.
In the second edition of the book, Hermione’s grades were changed from one “Exceeds Expectations” and 10 “Outstanding” marks, to nine “Outstandings” and one “Exceeds Expectations.”
