“Friends” actress Jennifer Aniston and the photographer who took topless pictures of her have reached a settlement in a lawsuit filed by Aniston.

Zap2It.com reports that photographer Peter Brandt will no longer pursue plans to publish the pictures.

Aniston filed a lawsuit against him in December, claiming that the pictures could only have been taken “by means of trespass and/or through the use of an enhancement device,” violating her privacy rights.

For his part, Brandt still maintains that he didn’t trespass on any private property to shoot the photographs. “Even though they were legally obtained, Peter pulled the photos from publication,” said a statement from his representative.

When the pictures first surfaced, Aniston claimed that they damaged her personal and professional reputation, and led to “shame, mortification, hurt feelings, emotional distress, anger, embarrassment, humiliation, feeling of being violated and injury to her privacy and peace of mind.”
