CW Teams With MSN To Download Season Premieres
The CW may have figured out a way to get its audience.
According to Reuters, the new network, which is a combination of the old WB and UPN networks, plans to debut three season premieres online for free and without commercials – before they debut on television.
The CW has partnered with MSN to allow the shows to be downloaded. The shows will feature returning favourites “Everybody Hates Chris” and “Veronica Mars” as well as the new series, “Runway.”
“Runway” will be the first show available for download as of Sept. 18, “Everybody Hates Chris” will be second to debut on Sept. 24 and “Veronica Mars” will be the third, available on Sept. 26.
All will be online a week before they premiere on television.
